The story of a Wire Hair Fox Terrier, with the great illustrations of James Montgomery Flagg (1877- 1960), American illustrator best remembered for his stirring war posters, especially his famous recruitment poster of Uncle Sam pointing a finger saying "I Want You for U.S. Army". Juvenile ficiton. Covers have some edge wear and minor board exposure at tips. Erasure mark on front cover. Bookplate on front fixed endpaper. One plate has a closed tear at upper corner. Overall in VG condition.
