Bombay steel exposition case especially built to accomodate this 1924 Elgin watch movement. 45mm in diameter without the crown, by 54mm in total length, and 14mm thick. The beautiful white porcelain dial lends conservative style elegance. The black crocidile pattern calf strap will fit the largest wrist size. Quite unique, and looks great with a white shirt! DIAL: Single sunken white porceialin with bold Arabic figures and marked: "ELGIN" Mint original dial with fancy black original hands.
MOVEMENT: 12 size, 3/4 plate nickel, 7 jewels, serial number 30,614,458. Mint original movement with fine engraved nickel damascening.
CASE: Steel Exposition Bombay style case with a screw off back gasket with mineral glass on both the back and top. Beautiful case especially built for this early Elgin 1924 movement.
