Description: Elegant Victorian Rosewood Game Table with Inlaid Fruitwood Checkerboard Top. The serpentine sides are beautifully carved with fruits, flowers, leaves and a center bordered cartouche. The long cabriole legs have floral carved shells on the corners and four graceful stretchers connect in the center with the original turned finial. Notice the original casters with beaded top rim (always the sign of excellent quality). This rosewood table combines wonderful carvings and a very graceful form with an inlaid original top for games.
