Description: Elegant antique Japanese maru style obi, early Taisho period, c. 1912. Pure silk, fully patterned on both sides, luxuriously heavyweight. Splendid, floral motif with fans and pine accents. Varied, lush colors. Traditionally wrapped around waist and tied, but also makes a fabulous table runner, window dressing, or wall dcor. Dimensions: approximately 4 yards long, 12.5" wide. Very good condition.
