Description: Most striking Limoges Tray on GOantiques by far! Haviland & Co., Limoges, France. Mark was in use from 1888-1896. In OUTSTANDING CONDITION. No damage or repairs. Only very slight surface scratches here & there within the wide gilded inner border. The central still life was expertly painted but is unsigned. The dark cobalt borders are almost black and extremely shiny as the viewer can see from the reflections. A very difficult piece to photograph. My effort is as close as possible to reality but can't do it justice.
