Description: Edwin W. Knowles China Co. "Penthouse" pattern platter, in the Yorktown shape, in ivory with red-orange, lavender, and yellow flower pots. This art deco design large platter, measuring 13.75 by 12.5 inches, has concentric ridged circles and two side tabs or handles. The platter has the Knowles backstamp and the shape name on the back. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks. There is some all-over fine crazing, a handful of discolored specks in the glaze, a few knife marks, and some wear to the design.
