A wonderful example of an antique wallet or card case in a rich taupe or brown colour with a gorgeous shiny patina.
The front has a highly decorative silver mount to the front with a continental silver mark of 925, making it a sterling silver mount and also sporting the British import mark for Birmingham 1904. The makers mark is also nice and clear L K for the silversmith Laurence Kearny.
A particularly stylish catch is used to gain access, revealing an interior lined in soft supple leather with a pocket each side. The interior is monogrammed and appear to be B M or M B.
Easily fits modern day business cards and credit cards, ready for use.
Excellent condition measuring 5" x 3 1/2" when closed.
