The book is bound in butterscotch brown buckram (cloth) over boards with blind stamped panel décor on the front cover along with gold gilt lettering on the front and spine. The book is in fine condition. The binding is tight and clean. The book is illustrated throughout by the author Ianthe Dunbar in black and bluish green. The book is printed on thick card pressed paper with the edges uncut. There is some foxing throughout the pages especially at the ffep and some of the gutters but it isn’t unsightly in the least and to be expected when using this type of acidic paper.
