Description: This fine early wrythen molded flint wine dates to around 1800. The molding begins at the joining of the foot and stem, travels up through the knop and then expands into gentle flutes encircling the base of the bowl. The glass has a slightly greyish cast and is full of wonderful swirls and striations. This little gem has a snapped unfinished pontil and when gently tapped it emits a sweet thin flint ring. Condition is perfect with no damage or residue staining.
