Description:
Early Morimura Bros. Noritake porcelain ring handled nappy or lemon dish in a lovely gold encrusted and embossed Morimura Bros. pattern. Ring handled dish is superb with artistry detail you come to expect from these early Noritake pieces.
Measures 8 inches in diameter with details such as the gold painted finger ring handle, an inner border of contrasting Celadon green rimmed in fine gold on a snowy white porcelain ground. The outer border is a gadroon pattern of heavy gold encrusted and embossed flowers and greenery accentuated with black enamel detailing on white ground and finished off with an outer rim of painted gold.
Condition is rated very good. Moderat gold rub on the ring handle is noted. Our reserve reflects a pricing credit for this age expected wear. M-in-Laurel Wreath, Handpainted Nippon Green #47 mark.
