Description: We offer a splendid antique miniature painted on what we assume is a brass plaque. Looking at this treasure we can only assumee from the colouration that the painting comes from Spain or Portugal. The man is magnificently painted. The gentleman is dressed in black with a white collar. It is painted in oils. The condition is very good. As can be seen from the appended photographs it has a small piecing at the top. It may well have been mounted on a cord and worn around someone's neck or else suspended in a diffent method. It is mounted in an unglazed brass frame with an age almost contemporary to the portrait.
