Description:
This powerful antique chandelier is constructed of heavy cast iron and maintains its original polychrome finish with stunning patina along with green and golden accents. This chandelier begins with an open-frame hammered body comprised of a circular ring. Interestingly attached to the ring by stout hooks are five removable iron straps that display a curved and pointed end where the straps meet the small top disc. Finally, this five arm chandelier is surrounded by five simple, hammered bobeches adorned with lance head finials. Originally found in a home in North Carolina, this piece would nicely suit any Tudor, Arts & Crafts, Spanish Revival, or Old World décor. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired, and would brighten any style room. The ceiling light comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 16 ½”; the length of the chandelier only is 14”; the overall length is 31”.
