Description: This is a great little jelly compote made by the Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton Company of Findlay, OH circa 1893. The compote is 5" tall, 4-3/4" in diameter at the rim and 2" deep. The foot is 3" in diameter. The pattern is a band of swirls above a small band of cable at the bottom of the bowl. It is shown in advertising from 1893 and can be seen inthe book Findlay Glass by James Measell and Don E. Smith on page 90. this jelly is in excellent condition with no chips, flakes or cracks.
