Description:
This is a great little Paneled Ringed Stem jelly compote was made circa 1893. The manufacturer is unknown at this time but I think it looks a lot like McKee Brothers Glass of Pittsburgh, PA. The compote is 4-1/2" tall, 5" in diameter at the rim and 2" deep. The foot is 3-5/8" in diameter and it has one very tiny chip on the bottom of about 1/16" diameter. The pattern is a plain band with a beautiful engraving of fern leaves around the bowl. The stem has 8 arched panels with a ring at the middle. This jelly is in excellent condition with no other chips, flakes or cracks.
