Description:
The Two Panel pattern was made by the Richards & Harrley Glass Co. of Pittsburgh, PA circa 1880. The pattern is also known as Daisy in Panel and also as Daisy in the Square. This relish dish is in Canary or Vaseline glass and is 9 inches long from handle to handle by 4-1/2 inches wide. The bowl is 1-1/2 inches deep. There are some chips along the rim with nothing deep or large. They can probably be smoothed out. There are no other chips, flakes or cracks in the beautiful glass pickle dish. The Canary color became less popular when electric lights became more prevalent in the 1890's and early 1900's. According to one source is was a more mellow color under candle light.
