Description: This beautiful calling card holder was made by the Tarentum Glass Co. of Tarentum, PA. circa 1898. The pattern is called Heart with Thumbprint. The original name was Tarentum's Hartford. It is also known as Bull's Eye in Heart; Columbia; Columbian; and as Heart and Thumbprint. The emerald green glass is crystal clear with a beautiful gold trim that is almost 95% intact. The tray is 1-1/2" tall at the curved edges, 4-1/2" wide and 6-1/4" long. The ring foot is 2-3/4" in diameter. They may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks.
