Description:
This beautiful goblet was made by The United States Glass Corp as part of their States Series circa 1901. The pattern is known as Washington. The original name was US Glass No. 15074. It is also known as Beaded Base, and as Late Washington. This is the Ladies goblet which hold 8 oz of fluid, the gentleman's goblet holds 10 oz. This goblet haS the enameled floral decoration and an acid etch, or frosted band, around the waist of the bowl. The base of the bowl has the beaded band with a sawtooth band above and below. The stem has six flat panels. The goblet is 6" tall, 3" in diameter at the rim and the foot is also 3" in diameter. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks. This goblet does have a black spot of carbon on the rim that is about the size of a pin prick. I have two more of these goblets if you are interested.
