Description:
This beautiful flint milk pitcher is in the Loop pattern made by so many manufacturers during the middle to late 19th century. Companies such as McKee Brothers; O'Hara Glas Co; Portland Glass; Challinor, Taylor & Co; Boston & Sandwich made this pattern in flint glass. This pitcher is 8" tall at the lip and 5" in diameter at the widest point of the bulbous body. The ring foot is 4" in diameter. The applied strap handle is in perfect condition with a beautiful flurish at the bottom. There are some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks. This pattern is known by many names such as; Central's No. 145; O'Hara's No. 9; Portland Petal; McKee's O'Hara Pattern; Loop; and as Seneca Loop.
