Description: The Sawtooth pattern was made by many glass companies, including The Bryce Group (Bryce, Richards; Bryce, Walker; Bryce Brothers) all of Pittsburgh, PA, James, B Lyon & Co; McKee & Brothers; Gillinder & Sons; Union Glass Co; and The United States Glass Co. This covered butter dish was made circa 1850's to the 1870's in flint glass. It is 5-1/2" tall to the top of the finial on the lid and the bowl and top are both 6-1/2" in diameter. There are no chips, flakes or cracks in this beautiful butter dish.
