Description: The Checkerboard pattern was made by The Westmoreland Glass Co. of Grapeville, PA circa 1915 and originally known as Westmoreland's #500. The pattern is also known as Bridle Rosettes; Old Quilt and Fan; Ribbon; and as Square Block. It has also been made by Cambridge Glass Co. of Cambridge, OH and the A. H. Heisey Glass Co. of Newark, OH had a similar pattern. This wine glass is 4 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter at the rim. The 18 pointed star patterned foot is 2 inches in diameter.
