Description:
This small blue glass Cotton Bale shaker was made by the Consolidated Lamp & Glass Co.Pittsburgh PA. circa 1894-1895. The shaker is 2-1/2 inches to the top of the screw cap and is 2 inches square. The shape is of a bundle of cotton all tied up with rope. The cap is original and it does have some dents and two small splits as is common for its age, but still screws on nice and tight. And as you can see in the photos the area under the cap is also in very good condition. There are no chips, flakes or cracks in this very nice little shaker. A nice addition to any art glass collection!
