This is a beautiful blue reproduction master salt in the Dew Drop with Star pattern. This pattern was originally made by Campbell, Jones & Company of Pittsburgh, PA circa 1877. The pattern is known as Dewdrop With Star. It is also known as Dewdrop and Star; Dewdrop with Small Star; and as Star and Dewdrop. The pattern was designed by Jenkins Jones and patented under the design patent No.s 10,096 and 10,297 on July 17, 1877. The reproduction were made by Crystal Art Glass of Cambridge, OH (1952) and Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, OH made some for John Degenhart. These were unmarked until 1972 when each was embossed with a "D" in a heart. Pilgrim Glass of Ceredo, WVA and Boyd's Crystal Art Glass of Cambridge, OH also made this pattern. This reproduction is 1-3/4" tall and 3-5/16" in diameter. The cupped foot is 1-5/8" in diameter and has a chip on the rim that is 5/8" x 1/2" in size. The "Star" part of the pattern in the bottom of the bowl. I tried to show the chip in the photos. There may be some bubbles and straw and a few of the hobnails around the body have some flakes but there are no other chips, flakes or cracks.
