Description: This is a huge classic retro electric cooking pan (fryer, roaster, griddle, you name it!) by Sears-Roebuck Kenmore, apparently never used, though the surfaces show some light scratches from being moved around. The base is made of heavy aluminum; the lid is lightweight aluminum. Who needs a stove? I think of how helpful this would have been when I was camping in my motor home. I love the 1950s modern look of the legs and handles, which are made of black hard plastic. The feet are firmly attached with screws. It comes with the original plug with tempurature controls that plug into the base of the pot. The tempurature guage has settings for warm up to 450 degrees (and off). A guide for cooking tempuratures is affixed to the side of one handle, letting us know that for bacon, the cooking temperature is 350 degrees; eggs, fried, is 300; fish filets 400; french toast 350; ham 375; hamburgers 375; liver 375; pork chops 350; potatoes, fried, 375; sandwiches 325; and steak, beef, 425. These instructions show how varied the uses are of this pan. A good-sized pot roast or roast chicken with vegetables would also fit. The only thing that would not fit is a turkey! The pot lid has adjustable air vents on the top. The pot alone is 15 inches long by 11 inches wide by 1.75 inches deep. With the side handles and feet, the length is about 18 inches and the height without the lid 4 inches. The high lid is about 3.5 inches high not including the handle. Empossed in the heavy aluminum of the bottom is: Immerible 120 volts 60 cy. A.C. only, 1500 watts. 12.5 amps. Made in U.S.A. UL. The bottom of the tempurature control reads: 120 V. A.C. only1500 watts. Model No0, Sears Roebuck and Co. Simpson-Sears LTD., etc. The control is NOT immersible. The plug appears to be in excellent condition. Overall, I would rate it as excellent to near mint.
