Description: This package of spinning top spares was made by Donald F. Duncan Inc. in Evanston Illinois.
Webster’s dictionary defines the top as a child’s toy shaped somewhat like an inverted cone, with a point at its apex upon which it is spun, usually by unwinding a string. It appears that man has always been fascinated with the top. He has the power to spin it and somehow defy gravity by its ability to stand upright on its point, as if magically. There is no one point in time where the top can be said to have been invented.
Beginning in the 1960’s, Duncan Toy Company began promotion of spin tops. New in the original package which includes 2 Resilient Points, 1 Delux String and 1 Finger Button. I have 3 of these packs in stock. Price quoted is for each one ordered. An addition to any Duncan Spin Tops Collection.
