The figurine is of a pretty shepherdess. She has blond hair, rosy cheeks, and a rosebud mouth. She wears the traditional blue-and-white costume of figurine shepherdesses. Her bodice is loosely laced, and because she holds fruits and flowers in her skirt, her patterned petticoat is exposed to view. On the underside are two smudged blue under-glaze marks that suggest the Helena Wolfsohn manufactory.A sweet traditional piece. Price Comparison: $250-300 in Fine Art & Antiques Gallery. Dimensions: 12-1/2" High, 5" Diameter. Weight: 2 lbs. Condition: There are some small chips on the base. Also, the piece needs a gentle cleaning. But there appear to be no restorations and the hands, feet, and nose are intact.
