Very attractive summer quilt/coverlet in the dresden pattern made in the 1950's of cotton printed fabric on muslin. Very similar to feed sack cloth patterns. This quilt/coverlet was in plastic and unused and never washed. I did not wash it as I will leave that up to the buyer. There is a little bit of dust and very light yellowing where the plastic was torn and the fabric was folded. I am almost sure it will clean very nicely as this is so slight. The 1940-1950's print fabric is very bright and colorful. It would go with alot of different colored decors. Pinks, blues, yellow, off white, lavender, and green. The border is 2 1/2" wide and done in a buttercup yellow, brown and off white flowered print that you see on the four corners of the pattern. The top is double bordered in that same print. The center of the pattern and the circles dividing the pattern are hand embroidered with the buttercup yellow color. It measures a full 93 inches in length and 69 inches in width. I took pictures of it on a queen bed, it does overhang the sides of it. I can picture this in a country or cottage setting.
