Description: A Dresden Plate pattern quilt from the 1930's. It is machine pieced and appliqued. Each block is 17" square. The backing of the blocks and the quilt is unbleached muslin. It has a cotton batting. The laterals are 3.5" wide and the border on each side is 7" wide. It has excellent hand quilting with 12 stitches per inch. This quilt has never been used or washed as the original pencil quilting lines are still visible by the quilting on the fabrics. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a few small spots in the top left square (see picture 2).
