Description: Offered is a rare, hard to find 2pc. Mayonaisse set of Dorflinger Glass, Honesdale, PA., in the tinted poppy design. The bowl is pictured on the back page of the 'Dorflinger Kalana Art Glass' book by John Quentin Feller, 1988. The book describes the pattern as 'Kalana Tinted Poppy'. The condition is very good, there is a small flea bit out of the rim of the bowl. It could be ground out but I feel that the rarity does not justify any alteration. This a a beautiful and very delicate piece of American art glass.
