Description: late 19thc, French Dore Bronze Hand Painted signed pair of porcelain plaque candelabras. Each hand painted on porcelain and signed by the artist, Charles Gabriel Lemonnier, lower right corner. Mounted within their original bronze frames with three candle arms to each. The Dore bronze frames are figural grotesque masques with beaded decorations on the borders. Origin: Durante, France. Condition: Excellent; no damage or repairs to the plaques, the enamel is in excellent condition with no loss as well as the bronze frames. Old tape left on the reverse as they came to us. Each measures: 22 3/8" H X 14.5" W (6.7/8" W plaque 12 Long)
