Description: Great Art Deco Influenced Styling. Made in the 1930's by Dorby. This 1 Pint Mixing/Beater Jar is in working condition. You might want to replace the cord to assure safe use. It is the old two prong plug. The mixer is Chrome Plated and it has a red handle. I will combine orders if I can to save on shipping costs. There is a pouring opening in the mixer so you can tilt it and pour. The mixer says Dorby Model E-30-C 115V 60W 60Cy. AC Only Date UL listed CPD SA Made in USA. The chrome plating is in real good condition no peeling or pitts, the red handle has no cracks or breaks. The jar is original to the mixer and is marked on the sides the measurements in cups up to 2 cups (1 Pint), it is also marked in ounces up to 16. It is actually a 3 cup jar. The glass jar has Deco lines and three feet on it. The jar is marked: Crand Sheet Metal Products Home Appliance Division Melrose Park Illinois. There are no fleabites, chips or cracks on the jar. The mixer and jar stand 9 1/2" tall and the diameter of the jar is 4 3/4". My Grandmother had an old green depression one like this that she whipped cream in and made mayonnaise in.
