Description: This is an old printer’s block for the Dolly Madison bakery company. We all know and love Dolly Madison with their scrumptious cakes and pastries. As described by Roy Nafziger, IBC’s founder: “Cakes and pastries fine enough to serve at the White House.” That is how Roy Nafziger, IBC’s founder, described his Dolly Madison® snack cakes at their introduction in 1937. Roy’s fascination with the First Lady Dolley Madison lent him the name and inspiration to create a high quality snack fit for a socialite like Madison yet affordable for everyone. This lovely printer’s block features the Dolly Madison name with a floral border. The block is in very good condition and measures approximately 3.75 inches long by 2 inches high.
