Collected from the: Dogon peoples of the Bandiagara Cliffs in Mali, West Africa
Material: Hardwood, skin oil
Period: Early 20th century
Dimensions: 24.5" length, 9.5" width, 1.75" height; weight is 5.60 pounds
Condition: Exceptional - exquisite signs of age and wear from extensive tribal use, considerable patination with liberal traces of the more sandy cliff soil underneath - great character !
