Antique African Tribal Art - Mali

Collected from the: Dogon peoples of the Sanga region of Mali, West Africa
Material: Hardwood, pigment
Period: Early 20th century, conservatively
Dimensions: 15" height, 6.5" width, 4" depth; weight is 1.85 pounds.
Condition: Excellent - significant signs of age and wear from authentic tribal use, exposed wood displays considerable patination. Make special note of the surface condition and hole wear, the heavily weat d patina displays liberal traces of skin oil that suggest frequent tribal wear and handling - exceptional!
