Antique African Crown - Ritual Object - Mali

Collected from the: Dogon peoples of Mali, West Africa. Also attributed to the Bamana (Bambara).
Material: Animal hair, vegetal fiber, cloth
Period: Very early 20th century, conservatively
Dimensions: 5.75" height, 8.5" outermost diameter, 1/8" thick; weight is 0.85 pounds
Condition: Excellent - no damage, strong signs of wear, age and extensive tribal use
