Description: This is really a neat piece, the old hat box from out of the 1940's.

When you purchased a hat for some one, the dept store would give you this small hat in the box, to wrap as a gift, then the person could come in and try the hat on for the correct size.

This hat box and hat was made by Dobbs.

The hat is in really good condition, box shows some wear, on the top and around the sides. .

Really nice collectable.
