is a classic Dobbs Fifth Avenue Bowler Hat size 7 1/8". This Bowler is in excellent condition. The hat is made out of felt. The inside is made out of satin and the band is leather. The inside is printed in gold "Dobbs Fifth avenue New York, New Yorks Leading Hattery Trade Mark". Around the leather band the initals T.F.C. Men's Filene's Store and Dobbs Fifteen are imprinted on it. Filene's added mens wear in 1912. In 2005 all Filenes stores were converted to Macy's Stores or closed. Dobbs Hats have been around for many decades. The history of Dobbs dates back to the 1930's when the company was called Hat Corp. Of America._33
