Description: Beautifully engraved Rare Certificate from the Dixie Motor Car Company issued in 1911. This historic document has an ornate border around it with the name of the company on top. This item is hand signed by its president, C. H. Hubbard and its secretary, Edward F. King. This certificate and is over 92 years old and we only know of 7 of them that came out of a Maryland bank vault. The company was organized in 1910 in Frederick, Oklahoma with the plan of producing a gasoline car at $1,050. C. H. Hubbard was the Mayor of Tulsa, Oklahoma from 1918-1920.
