Description: One(1/2CT TW) diamond with black star sapphire (10MM X 8MM) mans 14K yellow gold ring. The diamonds are of a very fine quality. There are 4 diamonds in this ring. one (2.7MM--.07CT) ~ one (3.0MM--.10CT) ~ one (3.3MM--.14CT) ~ one (3.5MM-- .16CT) = .47CT Total or a 1/2CT TW. The 3.0MM has a very small chip in the crown and just does touch the table, the only way I can see the chip is with a 10 power jewelers loop. My measurements could be off a little less or a little more, Measuring with a MM gauge is only an educated guesstimate, the only way to get an accurate carat weight is to weigh the diamond on a carat scale which is hard to do when they are mounted in a ring. I feel sure they are a 1/2 carat of diamonds. I think the diamonds are VS quality and G color. I can only see very few flaws in the diamonds with a 10 power jewelers loop. You can see several tiny nicks in the black star with a 10 power jewelers loop ( you see almost nothing with the naked eye), some of the nicks may be natural's that wasn't polished out. Its weight is 10.4 grams 14k yellow gold and is a size 10- 1/2 with a fairly heavy shank 2.8MM wide and 1.3MM thick. The 3 good diamonds should be worth what we are asking for tha ring.
