Description: Handsome walnut hand carved stationary, desk or cigar box from mid 19th century England is exceptional. Fabulous thick raised carving covers the front,back and hinged spine with solid walnut on the opening side with closure of 2 small brass hooks. The two spacious 6.75W X 9.5L interior compartments are also wonderful for mementos or photos.The piece is in excellent condiiton with beautiful patina to the wood. Measures 12H X 15L X 1.75D.
