Description: This 6-1/4" wheel-thrown European art pottery vase has a colorful rich floral decoration. Made out of a reddish color earthenware clay body with underglaze decoration. Made in Germany, I was told this vase is by Elisabeth Schmidt-Pecht, Konstanz (near Lake of Constance)in the 1920's. Good condition with typical flaws in handmade pottery(pinholes, crazing and uneven coloring). I bought this at an estate auction sale in South Dakota.
