Description: This is one totally incredible plate! It is made of exceptionally fine crystal. Starting from the center there is a molded portrait of Beethoven in high relief on Amethyst Color glass - on one side of the portrait is 1770 on the other side 1827. It measures 3 ½” in diameter - in other words it is a portrait disc annealed to the center of the plate. The disc is then surrounded by frosted glass in the style of Lalique. The remaining edge of the plate is pure brilliant but colorless crystal. The overall measurement is 9 ¾” in diameter. This plate is signed “Daum 1970 Made in France #167/2000” all in diamond point script. This is a very fine and sophisticated Plate. Striving For Excellence It isn’t brilliance or just getting the breaks, It is consistent attention to & honest respect for the Customer.
