Description:
9.5" high without tassels...11" with but not counting hanger. 7" wide. "TORONTO EXHIBITION 1929" is spelled out in tiny clear beads around the picture opening. A song bird on blossom branches serenades the beholder. In FABULOUS CONDITION. Aside from 5 loops & the hanger everything is original!! The velvet front has no damage. The back is cotton. This could also be the work of a Kahnawake Mohawk according to similar items pictured in Phillips p237. The photo opening will accommodate a photo size up to 6.5" x 4.5".
