Description: Here's an early advertising medicine bottle with its box - Dalton's Sarsaparilla and Nerve Tonic from Belfast, Maine. It still has most of its contents. Says it's "unequaled as a blood purifier and nerve tonic." It "permanently cures all blood diseases from which arise serofula, white swellings, englarged glands, tuberculosis," etc. It sounds like more of a quack medicine. There was no date on the box or bottle to date it. However, the box maker has a patent date of 1878. The box has some wear to it. If you are a collector of old advertising quack medicines, here's a nice one.
