Description: Unsigned brilliant cut glass Victorian period decanter with stopper. It is a similar pattern to a plate by C.G. Alford & Company shown on page 45 of "American Brilliant Cut Glass" by Bill and Louise Boggess. It consists of a number of hobstars and crosshatching in the design. It has very deep cutting in a heavy crystal blank. The form is quite interesting. It is relatively narrow rather than round. A lovely piece with very good cutting!
