Description: This is a German paper chromolithograph fan from 1908 that was custom framed by California artist Venetia Thompson for me in the 1990’s. We have used all vintage materials in the mat and trim. Materials include purple silk, green silk velvet,lavender silk lingerie flower and gold bullion trimmed ribbons. The frame which is golden wood was new at the time of framing and shaped in the form of a fan shadowbox.. The piece is in very good condition and will be coming from my house to yours. It was never merchandise in my store. The fan case measures 18" higby 27" wide. One paper portion is slightly lifted, noticed by only a trained eye.
