Description:
This is a beautiful Highboy from the 1950's and is in the Chippendale design period. It comes in two pieces. The top has an arch pediment with three flame finials and two large rosettes that are the shape of a southern dogwood blossom. The top drawer is a craved shell, followed by graduated drawers with cut out brass handles. The bottom half has carved shell and ball and claw feet. In the pictures I tried to show any nicks and or scratches that are the worst part of this great piece. It would be a wonderful addition to you Colonial Williamsburg style living , dining, or master bedroom. It is heavy, sturdy and structurally sound. NOTE!
