Description: For sale is an antique Currier and Ives print, Evening Prayer, in a gorgeous heavily carved folk art frame. The entire piece measures 20 by 24 inches; the print is 10 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches. The print was hand colored. It has some age browning and a few dark spots and is a little ragged at the edges. The frame has applied leaves at each corner; one set in the upper left hand corner has been put back together after a break. The sides and criss cross edges of the frame are heavily carved and beautiful with only one tiny spot where there's a nick. The back has its original wood backing.
