Description: Beautiful hand crafted solid curly or tiger maple stand. This has a drawer with hand cut dovetails (both front and back. The drawer secondary wood is pine, there is a fine sheraton style brass knob on the drawer. This has a lacquer finish. The stand measures approx 27 1/2" tall, 16 1/4" deep and 18 7/8" wide. The top is a 2 board top. The construction is mortise and tenon with wooden pins. Again the piece is made of ALL solid tiger maple. It is signed (branded) on the inside of the rear skirt SW Billings. Scott Billings is a North Bennet Street School (Boston) graduate who resides in South Dennis MA. He custom makes furniture and uses only choice grained woods. This one drawer stand can be made in sets for end tables or bedside stands.
