Description: Pennsylvania cupboard on frame, made of butternut with original faux mahogany flame painting. Retains most of original paint which was hidden by years of abuse, properly cleaned down and preserved. Cupboard has two panelled doors with mortise & tenon joinery. The doors are over a single drawer, dovetailed with oversized original wooden pulls. Underneath the bottom molding is a base which can be taken off, the base was missing and case did not show what was on the cupboard. We have made a cupboard on frame with elegant cutout on front. Piece is butternut with our best job at matching original paint. Cupboard has 2 mortised shelfs which are original. Case is 14 1/2" d, 40"w and full height is 61 1/2"
