Description:
This is a very rare commemorative cup and saucer made in 1953 for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England. This bone china cup and saucer which both feature a sepia photograph of the Queen, Prince Charles and Princess Anne who were then small children attributed in the mark to Marcus Adams. The tea cup and saucer have a further color design and cipher on the reverse. The cup is 3 inches high and the saucer is 5.5 in diameter. This is a difficult to find and sought after coronation cup and saucer which has been treasured and is in excellent, mint condition. A wonderful find from our last English buying trip.
